I have many wonderful memories of them. One of my last memories of your grandfather was when he was at Heritage i think. His health was bad, but his mind was sharp. Knowing I was a UNC grad and fan, he immediately asked when the Carolina ball game was that night and on which channel. He didn't want to miss it. You are correct about your grandmother being beautiful. She and my mother looked very much alike and people thought I was kin to your family through them instead of your grandfather and my father who were first cousins. I am so happy to hear that grandchildren and grandparents can maintain a special relationship throughout their lives and beyond.Even though I have 7!Much love to you.
